Applications

It is a non‑hydrolyzable silicone surfactant designed to provide excellent foam stability and a fine, regular cell structure in extremely low‑density foams using liquid CO₂ as the blowing agent.
In stretched formulations (with high TDI, high water, high CO₂) it provides superior nucleating efficiency and dramatically reduces striations in the foam bun.
It offers complete hydrolytic stability in water/amine/silicone pre‑blends, and works well on all commercially available CO₂ equipment (Cardio / Beamech / Novaflex).
It is described in the product range as an “Additive for Slab Stock Foam”.

Because the product is used for low‑density foam formulations (insulation foams, sandwich panels, etc) which are commonly found in building and construction materials. The foam stability and low‑density foam applications align with insulation or structural foam markets.

Although its primary description is for slab stock foam and low‑density foam with CO₂, there is mention in the same site of silicone/surfactant products used for shoe grade PU (“Additive for Shoe Grade PU”) in the same range.
